Adjoining the owners' home but completely separate and enjoying its own south facing garden with cycle storage, it lies 10 miles from the coast at Folkestone and Canterbury (6 miles) with its myriad attractions and cathedral. The channel tunnel and Dover Castle (11 miles). Wildlife parks and clean beaches are all within easy reach as are many excellent inns and restaurants. Horse riding, cycling, clay pigeon shooting and lovely walking are all readily available. Shop and pub serving food ½ mile.

One bedroom. Three steps down to entrance. Small porch. Open plan sitting room with sofa bed (for alternative sleeping), dining area and small kitchen area. Shower room/WC. Spiral staircase to first floor: Large sunny twin bedded room.

And there’s historic Rochester, famous for its castle and cathedral. All are an easy drive from our holiday cottages in Kent. If it’s fresh air and peaceful countryside you’re looking for or your cottage holiday in Kent, then the North Downs are ideal for walkers. For traditional seaside fun and games there are Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs, while the beach at Camber Sands is justly popular.
